I began my professional career as a U.S. Army Military Intelligence Officer, achieving the rank of Captain. In that role, I led soldiers, managed critical security operations, and oversaw assets valued in the hundreds of millions of dollars. I was responsible not only for mission success, but for the welfare, morale, and readiness of those under my command. Leadership under pressure, accountability, and ethical decision-making were not optional—they were essential.

I later continued in public service as a police officer and investigator, serving for over a decade in municipal and federal law enforcement. During that time, I investigated serious crimes, worked directly with victims, coordinated with prosecutors, and upheld the law fairly and firmly. That experience taught me the importance of public safety, due process, and treating every individual with dignity and respect.

Following my military and law enforcement service, I earned my Juris Doctor and became a licensed attorney in Tennessee and Alabama. As a practicing attorney, I have represented clients in both civil and criminal matters, guided individuals through some of the most difficult moments of their lives, and worked daily within our justice system. I understand how laws are written, enforced, and applied—and where they succeed or fail real people. I believe justice must be firm, fair, and accessible to all, not just those with power or resources.

In addition to my legal career, I hold advanced degrees in theology and ministry, which have strengthened my commitment to service, ethics, and compassion. Faith, for me, is not about politics—it is about responsibility, honesty, and caring for others.
